Maite Antón

She graduated with honours in Economic Science and Business Studies from the Universidad de Murcia, being the top of her class. Upon completing her studies, she joined the financial area of the family business, Publicidad Antón, firstly as the company’s economic director as well as participating in the commercial area, technological development, internal organisation and human resources, and the digitalisation process, until she became the managing director, with a team of more than 50 persons and a career spanning more than 62 years. In 2010, the Alicante Provincial Council awarded her company the Active Prize for General Equality, and in 2014, AEPA’s equality prize. She belongs to different professional and sectorial associations, has formed part of different boards of directors, and is currently the president of AEFA (Family Business Association of the Province of Alicante), a member of CEDELCO, and a member of the Executive Committee of Elche’s Strategic Plan 2030.
