Antón Costas

He is a professor or Applied Economics at UB and president of the Economic and Social Council. He chaired the Economy Circle between 2013 and 2016. He has published numerous books, articles, and essays on the political economics of reforms and the formation of public policies. He participates actively in the public debate on the important economic and social matters of our time. He writes editorials for the newspapers La Vanguardia, El Periódico de Cataluña, and El País. His latest book is La nueva piel del capitalismo (Galaxia Gutenberg, 2016). He currently chairs the Economic and Social Council.
