1st Emotional Education Day-The secret to success

Dénia presents, as part of the Dénia Festival de les Humanitats, the first Emotional Education Day, aimed at teachers, personal counsellors, and families of the Marina Alta.
The programme will enable us to discover the importance of working to handle students’ emotions at school and at home. Today, one of the main challenges facing education in the 21st century is teaching students to live and get along with others: teaching them to identify, express, and manage their emotions, training themselves in conflict management by means of positive dialogue, discovering different techniques to learn to relax, working on showing respect, empathy, and tolerance of differences, and creating a mindful emotional bond with the teaching staff.

- 12:00 Good kids and bad kids: the danger of labels in education. Alberto Soler.
- 14:00 Signing of books and Lunch
